Affects Version/s: Titanium Studio 1.0.7, Titanium Studio 2.1.2, Titanium Studio 3.0.0
Fix Version/s: None
Studio: 220.127.116.11111162123, 2.1.2, 3.0.0
SDK: 2.1.3, 2.1.4, 3.0.0
OS: Mountain Lion 10.8.2, Windows 8
Devices Affected: Android Emulator, iOS Simulator
The user does not have the option to select an emulator version when a run is launched though the launch menu. The user must check the run configuration post-launch to edit the settings (not ideal).
This is a major usability issue and a parity issue with the Publish option. There is already a shortcut for deployments if the user selects run from the top menu bar.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create Titanium Project.
2. Run in simulator or emulator using 'Run => (deployment type)'.
App launches using default settings from the main preferences for ios or android.
The user does not have the option to create a custom run configuration.
The run config entry should appear (as it does for the publish action) so the user can select an emulator/simulator version.
