When an error happens, the alert dialogs sometimes shows no information at all while at other times they have a button to view details. But even then they don't provide enough information to debug (see attachment).
So then the user jumps on the Q&A or contacts support and we have to ask them for all kinds of logs and stuff.
I don't know anything about the architecture but could improve these alerts in a way that they guide the user in tracing and possibly fixing the bug themselves or else report it with relevant information?
- A button to open the studio logs straight from the alert
- A button to generate a report with relevant environment and error information that they can attach to a support request or JIRA ticket
- A button to search JIRA for the error message to check for existing issues
