      Description

      Description:

On my system with Titanium Studio (appcelerator Studio seems ok) and on Olga's system with Appcelerator Studio, the App will launch as expected. When you select a workspace, that dialog is dismissed but the splash remains. The splash would normally show launch status but remains blank in this case. See attachments for details. The app remains responsive via the UI, and is not listed as "not responding" in the force-quit dialog. Studio can be quit with the menu option or with CMD-Q as normal.

In both cases, it was shortly after update that the app started this new behavior. In Olga's case, her ini file was pointing at 360 preprod, and removing this resolved her issue.

In my case, since it was never pointed at 360 pre-prod, that is not a factor.

Olga has a jstack and I created one as well, see attached. (shalom.txt is mine, logfile.log is Olga's)

      Also note:
Olga attempted three times, quit the first two, and force-quit the third. She was able to run after the force-quit, this was prior to her changing the ini back to default.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1) Upgrade from 3.1.1.GA studio to 3.1.2 RC
      2) Restart studio when prompted

      Result:

If you encounter the issue, the app will not fully launch and will sit on the splash

      Expected Result:

The app launches fully and functions as expected
