Titanium SDK Update: improve sdk overwrite message to explicitly refer to modules

    Details

    • Type: Improvement
    • Status: Closed
    • Priority: Medium
    • Resolution: Invalid
    • Affects Version/s: Titanium Studio 3.1.0
    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Component/s: SDK
    • Environment:

      Titanium Studio, build: 3.1.0.201303080130
      Software OS X 10.8.2 (12C3012)

      Description

If the SDK is being installed, and modules need to be overwritten, the existing warning prompt message does not explicitly refer to modules. This is slightly confusing and inaccurate.

Current message reads: 'This operation will overwrite existing SDK's files in the target location. Would you like to continue?'

      Steps to Reproduce (for example):

      1. Delete stable SDK (keep modules).
      2. Check for Titanium Updates and install stable SDK.
      3. Warning prompt appears for file overwrite.

      Actual Result:

Message reads: 'This operation will overwrite existing SDK's files in the target location. Would you like to continue?'

      Expected Result:

Message reads: 'This operation will overwrite existing SDK modules in the target location. Would you like to continue?'
