      Description

      In Project Explorer:

I'm new to creating an issue, so please bear with me if I didn't do this correctly.

When I Stage a file, the background color changes from red, then to green (for about 1/2 second), then the background clears. When I right-click the file after this happens, the Unstaged option is grayed out and unavailable. When I click Commit, the file I just staged is not present in the list of files that can be commited.

According to the Appcelerator docs the file background should change to green and remain green when I click the Stage option. That's not happening. It's my understanding that Git Stages, then Commits. If that's the case, then I would expect to see staged files in the Commit UI, but I don't. It appears that when a file is Staged it is actually being committed??
