Affects Version/s: Aptana Studio 3.6.0
Fix Version/s: None
Eclipse Luna 4.4.0 - with PDT, Eclipse Web Developer Tools 3.6.0 and Aptana Studio 3 Plugin 3.6 installed
OS: Opensuse 13.1 x86_64 Linux with OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM
I use the Eclipse Web Developer Tools V.3.6.0 on Eclipse Luna. PDT 3.3 is installed.
After an additional installation of the Aptana 3 studio plugin it is no longer possible to open HTML files and CSS files with the associated standard Eclipse WST editors. Trying to open such files results in a message box
Unsupported Content Type
Unsupported content type in editor. .......
After clicking away the message box, the Eclipse WST HTML or the CSS editors open the files as pure text files - i.e. without any HTML, CSS syntax highlighting, without Outline and Content Assist functionality.
However, the Aptana HTML/CSS editors work normally. I still would like to be able to use the Eclipse standard WST editors.
After uninstalling the Aptana plugin the Eclipse editors for HTML and CSS files work normally again.
By the way: The Aptana Plugin also breaks the JSF Web Page Editor.
