    • Priority: Low
    • Resolution: Unresolved
    • Affects Version/s: Aptana Studio 3.3.1
    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Component/s: PHP
    • Environment:

      Windows 7 Professional
      Aptana Studio 3, build: 3.3.1.201212171919

      Description

      Aptana does not properly recognize/highlight php heredocs if the identifier has an underscore in it.

      According to the php manual "the identifier must follow the same naming rules as any other label in PHP: it must contain only alphanumeric characters and underscores, and must start with a non-digit character or underscore." So, an underscore should be allowed in the identifier.

      The following code will reproduce the issue:

          $sql = <<<END_SQL
              SELECT
                  id,
                  name,
                  value
              FROM
                  my_table
              WHERE
                  id = :id
      END_SQL;
