    Details

      Description

      CSS parsor/validator seems to only allow element selectors inside :not()selectors

      Only this ones seems to be valid for the validator/parsor
      .foo:not(div) {}
      .foo:not(div span) {}

      The following rules are marked as invalid ("Syntax Error: unexpected token") whereas perfectly valid according to W3C spec (http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-selectors/#negation)
      .foo:not(.bar) {} /* error.. */
      .foo:not {}
      .foo:not(*.bar) {}
      .foo:not(:focus) {}
      .foo:not(*:focus) {}
      .foo:not(div:focus) {}
      .foo:not(.bar:focus) {}
      .foo:not(.bar:focus) {}
      .foo:not(#bar) {}
      .foo:not(#bar:focus) {}
      .foo:not([title]) {}
      .foo:not([title="foo"]) {}
      .foo:not([title$="foo"]) {}
      .foo:not([title*="foo"]) {}
