Creating a new PyDev Django Project displays error

    Details

      Description

When I try to create a new PyDev Django Project I get this error:

      Error creating Django project.
      settings.py file not created
      Stdout:
      Stderr:

Apparently this was meant to be fixed in PyDev 2.5, but I still am experiencing it with the latest Aptana Studio 3.1.1
(Fresh installation of both OS and Aptana).

UPDATE: This could be a bug in PyDev that has been solved in latest version according to this source:
      http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.ide.eclipse.plugins.pydev.user/5401

The PyDev plugin included with Aptana is version 2.5.02012031515, I think you need to include the latest PyDev in Aptana package to solve this.

This is already fixed in git.

It's a compatibility issue with the latest Django which is already fixed in PyDev and should be available in the next Aptana Studio Release (I think you can get the current Aptana Studio nightly build to fix that, but it's still not in an official version).

Aptana Studio 3.1.2 contains PyDev 2.6.0, so it is fixed there.
