Default terminal window to open in home directory

      Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3

      Description

When the terminal window opens (either in tab or editor mode) it does not default to the user's home directory as expected. I first thought it might be an OS issue with Mac's reopening programs/windows that were open when the system was shut down but my Mac terminal app does not have this behavior....it always goes to the user's home directory when terminal.app is started.

This beaver is by design, as the idea is that when opening a terminal window, we open it to the currently active project, as the expectation is you'd want to do something in the project (particularly useful in rails, for example). we'll discuss if this should be a flag or some other preference setting.
