Improper highlighting of nested matching pairs

    Details

      Description

      When Prefs > Aptana Studio > Editors > Colorize matching character pairs is enabled, the editor highlights the wrong character when brackets of the same type of nested.

      See attached image for example.

      The correct character is highlighted when the nested brackets are separated by spaces, but is not a viable solution when working on existing/collaborative projects.

        Pushed unit test and fix for the re-opened use case to 'release' and 'development'. Specifically this was broken when searching from end of pair backwards and there were two consecutive end characters.

        Aptana Studio 3, build: 3.0.7.201112281312;
        Mageia Linux stable release 1 (kernel 2.6.38.8)

        This issue is still reproducible after the 3.0.7 V2 update.

        Does anyone have any clues how I'd might get more valuable information to trace this bug?
