    Details

    • Type: Bug Bug
    • Status: Closed
    • Priority: Medium Medium
    • Resolution: Invalid
    • Affects Version/s: Aptana Studio 3.0.6
    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Component/s: editor, php, project-explorer
    • Environment:

      Eclipse for PHP Developers, Mac OS X 10.7

      Description

      If I click on a local PHP file in the Project Editor, Eclipse will open the Aptana PHP Editor.
      If I click on a PHP file in the Connections menu, Eclipse will open the default PHP Editor of "Eclipse for PHP Developers"

      You can see this with help of the little icons on the left side. In the local you can read a little "PHP" (Aptana Editor).
      In the remote filesystem you can read only a "P" (default Editor).

      Can I switch somewhere the preferences

        Hi Felix,

        1. Go to Preferences > General > Editors > File Associations;
        2. Select *.php in the file types and make "PHP Source Editor" the default associated editor.

        Now the icon for remote php files should show the one from us. Hope this helps.
