      Description

      In the JavaScript editor, invoking content assist (CTRL + Space) in an empty location inside a code block should trigger insight on globals. The feature does show globals in that content assist includes externally defined variables and functions, however content assist does not show members of the global library here. Furthermore, opening content assist after "a" displays Array and alert(), both of which are members of the JS Core library and neither of which are included at http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_obj_global.asp. The only way I have accessed globals in content assist so far is via the . operator on the window object.

      Steps to Replicate :

      1) Open Aptana Studio
      2) Open a saved JavaScript file
      3) Invoke content assist (CTRL + Space) inside an empty code block, e.g. at the pipe :

      function fun() {
             |
      }

      Actual Results :

      Content assist does not include elements of the global library here.

      Expected Results :

      Content assist should include elements of the global library here.
