      Description

      {html}<div><p>Assigned to <a href=

      Tender issue #654</a>. As reported in Tender:</p>
      <blockquote>
      <p>Hey,</p>
      <p>I'm sorry to reopen this thread, but overrunning the the
      encoding in documents is kind of ... to me. I read your answer
      about even Windows notepad could guess wrong. I do not want to
      bitch, but I was using Notepad++ back on old Windows days, and it
      never ever failed on "guessing".<br>
      So, even if it could not being fixed, wouldn't it be possible to
      show up the current encoding in the statusbar, next to 'Writeable',
      'insert', ..., and make it switchable there, so you have a hint of
      the current encoding.<br>
      The current solution 'Edit -> Set encoding' has some problems
      too, since it sometimes doesn't allow to select another encoding -
      the selectbox just opens and clothes on click, so I have to restart
      Aptana and open all files again from ftp </p>
      <p>Best regards,<br>
      Daniel</p>
