css3 validation partially ignoring error filter

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Closed
    • Priority: Trivial
    • Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
    • Affects Version/s: Aptana Studio 3.0.1
    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Component/s: CSS, Validation
    • Environment:

      Aptana Studio, build 3.0.1.201104291443<br>
      Windows 7

      Description

      CSS3 validation errors still occur even though there are validation filters set to ignore them. I've attached a file that fails spectacularly. I don't think the

      ".-moz-."

      and

      ".-webkit-."

      regular expressions are fully working as intended.

      This passes validation:

      .site_notification {
        -moz-border-radius: 8px;
        -webkit-border-radius: 8px;
      }

      This fails validation:

      .site_notification {
        background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, color-stop(0.0, #eee),color-stop(0.05, #fff));
        background: -moz-linear-gradient(top center,#eee,#fff 5%);
      }

      This ALSO fails validation:

      .site_notification { background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8) ; }

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Create a web project containing a CSS3 file.
      2. Add the above code to the file.

      Expected result: CSS3 validation should correctly mark syntax errors.
      Actual result: CSS3 validation errors still occur even though there are validation filters set to ignore them.
